About Us
The purpose of the Livermore
Moms (LM) is to share ideas and talents so that we may grow as
parents, learn better ways to understand our children, and help them
become confident and capable individuals. The LM is non-political,
non-partisan, non-sectarian and not-for-profit, and membership is not
exclusive to Livermore residents.
The Livermore Moms offers its
members a variety of activities:

Monthly Meetings
LM's monthly meetings, held the second Monday of each month at 7:00
p.m., are a great way to meet other members as well as learn more
about our community and our roles as mothers. We frequently invite
speakers to make presentations on such diverse subjects as pediatric
dentistry, disaster preparedness, speech and occupational therapy,
Livermore Area Recreation & Parks Department activities and foster
parenting. Since most of our meetings are held in a member's home each
month, it makes for a casual, fun atmosphere. Join us for one
meeting and you'll want to be there every month!
Monthly Newsletter
Each month members receive a newsletter
packed with information including: upcoming club events, announcements,
playgroups, our local sponsors, articles, and more. For privacy
purposes, current and past newsletters, as
well as our member directory, are password protected and only available through the Members Only
page.
Activity Groups
There are various groups that meet weekly or monthly. Some are
for you and your kids, a couple are for dad, but most are just for moms! Each group
revolves around a particular activity, such as Playgroups, Book
Club, Coffee Club and Running Club. We're sure you can find a
group that does something you love to do, so it's up to you to join
with others who love to do it too. Check out the

Every Age Playgroups
Check out our currently available
Playgroups to see if one fits your
schedule and children's ages. These are not the only playgroups we
have -- you can contact the playgroup coordinator if you have a
specific day and time in mind and she can help you find one. There
are playgroups forming all the time!
Meals Maker Program
Our members generously volunteer to cook four meals per newborn for
new moms or in times of need. This is a fabulous way to get involved
and meet other members. There is a definite bond between our cooks
and our new moms, so let us know if you want to cook for someone or
need someone to cook for you. Read more about our wonderful

Mom's Night Out
We have organized events just for moms. Activities may
include dinner and a movie, bowling, ceramics, and cooking
classes.
It's a great stress reliever and a guaranteed great time with fellow
LM members. Check the Events Calendar to see

Couple's Night Out
We also organize several Couples Night Out each year. In the past this has
included Murder Mystery dinners, bocce ball, and indoor cart
racing.
Each event is for couples only, though nursing infants are welcome.
The activities are a great
way to get your partner out for the evening. For more information,

Club-Sponsored Family
Activities
We have family activities throughout the year that are sponsored by
the club. Most notably is our annual Family Picnic, Pumpkin
Patch Outing, and Eggstravaganza. Your dues fund these great activities and the kids just love them!

LM has created a Livermore Moms discussion group where moms
can exchange information and ask for help. You must be a member of
