Programs
There are various
sub-clubs and groups meeting weekly or monthly. Some are for you and
your kids, while others are just for us moms! Each group revolves
around a particular activity, such as Playgroups, Book Club, Coffee
Club and Scrapbooking Club. We're sure you can find a group that does
something you love to do, so it's up to you to join with others who
love to do it too. Below is a list of our ongoing groups.

Book Club
The Book Club meets
once a month to discuss a new, exciting novel. Check the Book Club

Brunch Buddies
Have a great time getting together for brunch with other families in
our club. Check

Bunco Club
Do you Bunco? Bunco players unite to roll the dice each month. Check
the Events
Calendar to see when we are playing next.
Children's Monthly
Outings
Each month you're invited to join us at a new location. The Outings
coordinator picks a variety of venues for parents and kids to enjoy
together. Some are free and some have a cost. But we always have a
good time visiting with each other and letting the kids have a great
time. Check the Events

Coffee Club
Everyone welcome! Who doesn't like coffee? Well, if you don't like
coffee, you can join us with your tea or hot cocoa instead. The Coffee
Club meets at 10:00 a.m. the last Friday of the month. Check

Couples' Night Out
Come out and enjoy a date night with other parents. A new Couple's
Night Out is organized each quarter . In the past this has included a
luau, Oktoberfest, Suds n' Spuds and Murder Mysteries. Each event is
for couples only, though nursing infants are welcome. Check the Events Calendar

Crafting Club
Take off from the kids one night each month to get caught up on your
scrapbooking, card making, painting, crafting of any kind with other mom's interested in the same
thing. Share ideas, conversations, and get to meet other moms. Check

Family Activities
(Club-Sponsored)
We have family activities throughout the year that are sponsored by the
club. Most notably is our annual Family Picnic, Pumpkin Patch
Outing,
and Eggstravaganza. Your annual dues
fund these great activities and the kids just love them! To see what is

Hiking
Join us for exciting hikes around Livermore and beyond. All hikes
are currently jogger stroller friendly. All level of hikers
welcome. Check

Home Schoolers
Meet families within the club who also choose to home-school their
children. Get together to talk about curriculum, ideas, plan field
trips, and so much more! Those that are thinking about
homeschooling are welcome too! Check

Knitting
& Crocheting Club
Do you like to knit or crochet? Want to get together with other mom's
while you work on your projects? The join the knitting &
crocheting sub-club. For more information, check the newsletter

to see when we will be meeting next.
Meal
Maker Program
Our members generously volunteer to cook four meals per newborn for new
moms or in times of need. This is a fabulous way to get involved and
meet other members. There is a definite bond between our cooks and our
new moms, so let us know if you want to cook for someone or need
someone to cook for you. Read more about our wonderful Meal Maker Program.
Mom's Night Out
Whether it's movies and ice cream or bowling and pizza, who could
resist a night out with the girls! Quarterly, we have an organized
event just for moms. Activities have included dinner and a movie,
bowling, ceramics, and pajama parties. It's a great stress reliever and
a guaranteed great time with fellow LM members. Check the Events Calendar

Playgroups
Some playgroups meet in homes, others in parks. Check out our currently
available Playgroups
to see if one fits your schedule and children's ages. These are not the
only playgroups we have -- you can contact the playgroup coordinator if
you have a specific day and time in mind and she can help you find one.
If we can’t find one that suits you, we can help find other
moms like you and start one. There are playgroups forming all the time!
Philanthropy
Committee
Do you want to be involved in efforts to benefit our surrounding
community? We have a great group of volunteers that help plan and
organize monthly activities such as food drives, fundraisers, and
other collections but we welcome anyone who wants to join us.

Secret Pals
The Secret Pals Club
is a great opportunity to get to know new and old members. Weekly, you
give and get "surprises" at your door step. It really is fun to
surprise and be surprised! Read more about our Secret

Sweet & Savory Baking Group
Join us for some kitchen magic. Each week recipes will alternate
between easy dinner ideas and yummy treats to satisfy your sweet
tooth. No experience necessary; the host will walk you through each
recipe step-by-step. If you are interested,

Working Mom's
Sub-Club
If you are a working mom, please join us and be surrounded by other
women who are in the same position. The goal of this sub-club is to
provide a support system for working moms, to provide a network where
information can be exchanged that's pertinent to being a working parent
and to set up monthly outings just for the moms. If you are interested,

Wine
Sub-Club
We live in the perfect place if you are a wine lover ... and you are
not alone. For more information about when our Wine Club will be

Volunteering
Did you know that as a member of the Livermore Moms, you are
expected to volunteer for at least one function, activity or office to
support the club? There are many ways to do this, such as hosting a
meeting, joining the board, or making a meal, and we know you'll find
that it's a fun way to get to know other members. See the Volunteer

Discussions & Facebook Community
LM has created a Livermore Moms Yahoo! discussion group where
moms can exchange information and ask for help. You must be an LM
